If you haven’t read his work, it’s actually really interesting. He worked under Andrew Carnegie. Carnegie is one of the most successful business people of modern day. He dominated the steel industry.

Carnegie asked Hill to study successful people. It was a "job" offer.

Here are the details of the job he offered him:

  • Hill had to research for 20 years.
  • He would not get paid for this research.
  • He needed to find out why people are successful.
  • The goal was to teach others how to be successful too.
